Personal Manifesto

In all aspects of my life – family, work, and creativity – I will keep my butt in my chair. If I’m paying attention, then I‘m not distracted of what is important. I live in a world of color, not black and white.

I will remain aware of the ocean in my blood, in my hair, and on my skin. I’m tired of surviving, I need to live. I feel lonely at times, but I’m not alone. I crave the world around me and I yearn for fresh air. I am addicted to laughter. I am not afraid of being wrong, I understand people make mistakes. I am more determined from having been defeated. I am unique and unpredictable. I am a beautiful mess. I believe in a thing called love. I love to dance, and I get hiccups a lot. Happiness is powerful, and it is what you make it. I want to be bold, and I want to create value in everything I do. I dream in color and media is my outlet, my passion.

Scott Sherman

Yesterday, May 1, 2012, I went to the Mass Comm offices. 

I don't really know why I ended up there, just did, its quiet, and I needed to study (I guess).

I found Professor Scott Sherman, he is the reason I want to be in advertising.

He was in his office, listening to music and reading..

He asked me about my internship and what I wanted to do after graduation.

I told him media.. I don't really know if I want media buying, media selling, or media planning.

But he was extremely helpful in determining what I would be best suited for.

He gave me a book on Media Planning, and told me about a former student that went into it.

He told me to start a portfolio, or a blog with my ideas on media planning..

Hence... this blog.

On this blog I will do two ideas a week, to build it up.

I will read adweek, and adage on media and put my thoughts about it.

I will try and meet different media planners from different agencies, and put what happened with them on here..

This is my new beginning. This is the start of the rest of my life.
